Dear Readers,
Time flies when you're having fun, moving to a new city, and introducing a new book...
My husband and I are now happily settled in Portland, Oregon, in a charming little house in the Sellwood neighborhood. For those of you who don't know Portland, it's a terrific city, clean, green, and bustling with culture. Maybe Carnegie should expand her business!
But BRIDE AND DOOM, the latest Wedding Planner Mystery, finds her back on the Seattle houseboat, planning her own wedding to Aaron Gold - who's showing more interest in the World Series than in cake and flowers. Meanwhile, Carnegie is temporarily employed by her old nemesis Beau Palire to manage the nuptials of a major league baseball star and a Goth rocker named Honeysuckle Hell. Then a corpse shows up at their engagement party, Boris the Mad Russian Florist is the prime suspect, and all hell breaks loose in a big way.
BRIDE AND DOOM was tons of fun to research and write. I hope you enjoy it.
Happy reading,
PS I've been too busy for interviews lately, but these are still on view: an essay by Roberta Isleib on MysteryFile.com, an article in the Idaho Mountain Express in Sun Valley, and interviews at The Romance Readers Connection, book-blog and Boise Weekly. Life is calmer now, so if you'd like an interview for your website or newsletter, just send me an email!
